The Performance Packages:
The tour group "Mariachi Pioneras de México" offers three types of presentations: the first contract option (PLAN A), consists of a live performance; the second option (PLAN B), is a panel discussion where they share their unique oral histories and experiences in "dialogue" with the participating public; finally, the third option (PLAN C) is a combination of PLAN A and PLAN B.

The musical repertoire is brought into harmony by selections from the ranchera genre, including the son, the huapango and the ranchera, where these admirable and worthy feminine representatives of a specific time period, the 1950s, when the mariachi style was maturing and when women were not considered part of the mariachi tradition, at all.

Currently, some of them still work as mariachis in places like Plaza Garibaldi (Mariachi Square), Xochimilco (The Floating Gardens) and Iztapalapa, D.F. Other members came out of many years of retirement, the passion and dedication for their art calling them to the stage for one last time.

PLAN A
• Musical presentation and show lasting no longer than 30 minutes maximum. Up to one overnight stay minimum.

PLAN B
• A panel presentation and dialogue lasting up to 90 minutes, includes a live performance of 4 (four) selections. Up to one overnight stay minimum.

PLAN C
• Both PLAN A and PLAN B, in combination. (In other words, one day is the panel presentation, another day is the concert presentation.) Up to two overnight stays minimum.
